Membership Programs

Listed below are all our class "tiers". Upon joining the club you will be placed in a tier based on experience and age. These tiers are meant to be fluid and advancement will be based on experience as well as fencing career goals.

The weekly schedule is listed below. Fencers and parents will be notified of any changes to the schedule beforehand.

Beginners

We offer beginner classes for all ages. Members will be taught form, footwork, basic actions, and the rules of fencing.  
No waiting for a start date. New students can enroll at any time. Just come wearing basic workout clothes, and ready to learn fencing.

​Membership: $200/month

Intermediates

These classes are for the seasoned beginners. Members will be taught advanced actions, develop their athletic abilities, and utilize strategies to win bouts.

Membership: $250/month

Advanced

Welcome to the pro circuit. All advanced members are training for competitions taking place all around the country. Be prepared for high intensity conditioning, sparring, and competitive fencing.

 20 Minute Lesson with Coach: $40.00, sign up available at the club


*Monthly Membership fees are due on the first of the month. We accept cash and checks (made up to Midwest Fencing Club).

Important information

USFA MEMBERSHIP 
Competitive or Non-competitive membership to the United States Fencing Association is required to participate in Midwest Fencing Club activities.  Competitive membership allows fencers to participate in any official tournaments and provides insurance in the unlikely event of an injury while participating in any fencing activity.

LIABILITY WAIVER
A signed waiver is required to participate in Midwest Fencing Club activities. No exceptions.

EQUIPMENT
Equipment can be rented on site for the 1st month free of charge. It must be purchased prior to the beginning of the 2nd month. Staff will provide fencers with sizing and recommended list of equipment and vendors.

UNIFORM REQUIREMENT
Full fencing uniform is required to participate in electric and dry fencing in addition to any drill activity. This includes knickers, underarm protector, chest protector for women and protective cups for men.
